Prices for technical translations

Classical method

Prices are calculated according to the target pages of text. Minimum number of 1 standard page. Number of pages is rounded up to half or full standard page.

Standard page (SP) = 1.800 characters (60 characters x 30 lines - including spaces and line spacing in the target text)

• Standard text means a universal standard or technical texts - letters, manuals, catalogues, handbooks, manuals, ...
• On the highly specialized texts and scientific texts (research analysis, research reports, ....) is added by difficulty margin to 50%.
• Translation is prepared in MS Word and sent to custom printed, by e-mail, on CD or DVD.

Translation using CAT software SDL TRADOS, automated layout

The extent of translation is calculated according to source words of the translated document, therefore it is possible to agree on the final contract price in the phase of offer. The translation price is considerably affected by the use of the translation memory within the actual translation or the translation memory created in previous translations. The translation price is then considerably reduced up to 60%.

The final price will be calculated by return on the bases on the sent document file including the eventual graphic alteration to the original layout.

It is possible to accept the source files in MS Office formats as well as in formats like Adobe InDesign (indd, inx, idml), Adobe FrameMaker (MIF), PDF and others.
