Translations from German and English
Due to my language skills and technical practice I specialize in technical translations of manuals, catalogues, manuals, safety data sheets, information materials to products, equipments and systems in following fields:
- mechanical engineering (machine tools, moulding machines, woodworking machines, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, motors, compressors, ..)
- printing (printing presses, prepress equipment, finishing machines, ..)
- automotive
- electrical engineering
- office equipment, measuring instruments
- household appliances
- handling equipment
This does not mean that the general translations (letters, information material, ..) I am not able to ensure that only emphasize that my strengths are primarily technical translations.
Using CAT tool SDL Trados and Transit NXT - Computer Aided Translations
I use for translations the latest translation CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tool SDL Trados 2009, Transit Studio NXT that increase efficiency, productivity and quality of the translations using translation memory and specific terminology database. The advantage for customers is a cost savings of up to 60% in subsequent editions of translated books.
